French President Francois Hollande thinks that “work should be done at school, rather than at home” and that kids whose parents don’t help them with their homework are disadvantaged in class.

Setup Ideas:

• Ask a teacher. Are some kids disadvantaged because their parents do have time (or patience) to help with homework? Is homework necessary for learning? Omitting homework would certainly create less work for the teacher, so why do they give so much?

• Ask a parent. Do you feel like your child has more homework than they can handle?

• Send members of the show to help kids with homework, giving parents a break. Record video and share online.
