Here are 5 key steps to becoming an HD character:

  1. Take a stand:

Character development begins by sharing your point of view. That gets the audience’s attention. You’ll connect with the audience by revealing why you have that opinion.

If you’re new to media, start by sharing your perspective on pop culture stories or relationship issues. Your character will cut through and be more memorable when you stick to your opinion and don’t back down.

  1. Share your life experiences:

Deepen your point of view by revealing personal stories that back up your opinion. Now the audience is getting to know who you are, and you’re forming a relationship with them.

  1. Identify your skewed opposites:
